Longjohns made in a ribbed silk fabric with a fixed elasticated waistband. Here you can find both warmth and comfort in our luxurious superlight garment.
How they are made
The production process for this article is very long and everything is made in house,to allow us to maximise quality control. The pattern is developed on CAD (Computer Aided Design) and the pieces optimized to ensure an excellent fit; finally the garment is assembled with great care and precision. Using the computer provides the utmost accuracy in the shaping and size developing. Using this system we don’t have any limits, so we are able to realize bespoke garments on clients request.
Charateristics of longjohns made in silk
This garment has a perfect fit and it is very comfortable; it is designed to be invisible when worn under trousers. The main charateristics of this garment are its extreme warmth, lightness, softness and an excellent hygroscopicity, the ability to absorb perspiration. Consequently, these qualities, make this very light fabric ideal for underwear giving a perfect fit and no constrictions; the fabric together with the very comfortable cut, makes this garment, ideal for all seasons. In addition, in order to make our garments even more comfortable, we produce them with flat seams. This garment is perfect after washing, because the high quality of the silk we use, gives great stability and softness.
The colour of the fabric
These longjohns in silk are made with fabric which uses a coloured a thread, so the fabric is produced already coloured and no dyeing is necessary; the results of this process are brightness, deep tone and a great resistence to fading.
